Who knew there were so many?! So, all you Hallmark fans, here is a look into our very own Oklahoma festivals! From pumpkin patches with elephants, to county fairs and apple picking, Oklahoma offers a wide range of autumnal celebrations that capture the essence of the season. First let’s talk about Pumpkinville! We have two that stand out, Hugo Pumpkin Festival and the OKC Myriad Gardens Pumpkinville.
Hugo Pumpkin Festival: Hugo, OK Sept 29th-Oct 29th, 2023
This year is the 9th annual Hugo Pumpkin Festival and it is fun-filled with a variety of entertaining activities for the whole family. This is the ONLY pumpkin patch featuring ELEPHANTS!
Here is a list of some of the fun activities to enjoy: Pumpkin Patch, Hay Mountain, New Hayride on The Reserve, The Inflatable Slide, Obstacle course, Bounce Houses, Giant Jump pad, Elephant Barrel Train, Fall Photo Opportunities, Door Prizes, Trivia Stations, Scavenger Hunt, Wipe-Out Challenge Machine, Pumpkin launching, Buckin’ Bull Ride, Zip Line, Pumpkin painting/Carving/ Crafts, High Rise Slide, PLUS Elephant feeding, ALL NEW Bungee Trampoline Jump, Axe Throwing, Elephant Bingo, and MORE! Pumpkinville Festival: Oklahoma City, OK October 6th-October 22nd, 2023
Pumpkinville, held at the Myriad Botanical Gardens is a beloved fall festival that transforms the gardens into a pumpkin wonderland. With over 25,0000 pumpkins, gourds and festive displays of all the selfies you want, it’s the perfect spot for families to explore and take those memorable photos. Kids can enjoy face painting, story time, and a variety of seasonal activities, making Pumpkinville a must visit for those seeking autumn delights in the heart of the city.

Pecan Festival: Luther, OK Route 66 Weekend Nov 18-19th, 2023
Do you love a good pecan pie or maybe candied pecans around the holidays, well buckle up because you are in for a treat! The Pecan Festival is an Oklahoma favorite. With tons of history, fun and good food, a parade, and fireworks you are sure to enjoy your experience. Luther’s Pecan Festival is a 2 day event full of art, food, music and you guessed it, tons of pecans! Enjoy a variety of mobile cuisine from some of OKC Metro’s best food trucks! You can even enter a pie, cake, candy or slab of pecan smoked ribs in the pecan cook-off! So, head out to enjoy some yummy food and shop for those holiday gifts with a large selection of artwork and artisanal gifts perfect!

Tulsa Oktoberfest: Tulsa, OK October 19th-22nd, 2023
This is a huge event in Oklahoma and is a must see for all things authentic Bavarian culture mirroring Munich in Bavarian, Germany. It is ranked as a TOP 5 Oktoberfests in the U.S by USA Today! We could write a whole blog just about this festival! With over 103 different beers to try, you can also enjoy plenty of good food, games, competitions, music and carnival rides for the kids.

Poteau Balloon Festival: Poteau, OK October 20th- 21st, 2023
Welcome to Oklahoma’s longest running BallonFest! Named #3 in the TOP 40 Things to do in Oklahoma in 2014 by OKIESCENTRIC Magazine! This annual celebration includes hot air balloon rides, tethered balloon rides and glows, a mud pit race, arts and crafts booths, games, carnival rides and much more! You can enjoy the “glow” each night as the hot air balloons line up for an exciting performance with burns, flickers and the wave. This is a must see event! Other attractions that will be present at the festival include an extreme BMX stunt team, monster truck rides, helicopter rides, and more! Bring a blanket and or lawn chair and get ready for a day of fun!

Robbers Cave Fall Festival: Wilburton, OK October 20th, 21st, and 22nd, 2023
Get ready for the 36th Annual Fall Festival at Robbers Cave State Park. This event is packed full of fun and yummy food with between 65-70 THOUSAND people attending over the three day event. Guests can enjoy music, over 200 arts & crafts, amazing foods including carmel apples and kettle corn, amusement rides and the famous Fall Foliage Cruise that hosts 450-500 pre 1986 cars. Some are restored and some are customized, either way if you are a car enthusiast you won’t want to miss it! Sunday will host a worship event with gospel music. This year is sure to be a hit so add it to your calendar!

Wings Fall Festival & Pumpkin Patch: Edmond, OK September 29th-October 22nd, 2023
This is one of Edmond’s most cherished events! Guests can enjoy yard games, hay rides, inflatables, a petting zoo, great photo-ops, more games and of course pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. All monies raised help provide members with critical services to fulfill Wing’s vision of seeing them reach the full potential God created them to be. This is a “must do” this fall. You not only get to have a great time but you are giving back to one of Edmonds beloved charities at the same time.
