Here is a sneak peak at the “TOP 10 MUST TRY FOODS” for this year: #1Cotton Candy: flossy sugar coma, yes please! #2 Poncho Corn Dog: this jumbo-deep fried battered hot dog with ketchup and mustard is always a winner #3 Turkey Leg: do we even need to put an explanation on this one?! #4 Roasted Corn: this is a tried and true state fair classic that never lets us down. #5 Fried Cheese on a stick: Who doesn’t like fried cheese? In Brazil this is tradition for vendors to sell on the beach! It is sure to put a smile on your face. #6 Cinnamon Roll by Silver Dollar Concessions: probably one of the best you will ever eat! I can see it now, the fluffy, gooeyness that just melts in your mouth! Get there early because the line will back up on this one! #7 Funnel Cake: another State Fair classic: Delicate fried bread with powdered sugar and dipping sauce.  YUMMY! #8 Root Beer: sounds basic but in an ice cold jug on a hot day, it is the go to drink to wash down all your goodies with. #9 Honey Pepper Bacon Dog: I think we all hear the word bacon and say “count me in” and this newbie is stacking up against some all time staples. This hot dog by Project Krave will leave you saying “perfection!” #10 NEW FOODS: You should always try something new each year and this year should be no different. With over a dozen new vendors you are sure to find something that will keep you coming back for more!  But hold on, you didn’t think we would leave out some of the local specialties, like Indian Tacos and Oklahoma BBQ. Very few places can stack up against these two local goodies!
