Celebrate Independence Day in Edmond: An Unforgettable 4th of July Experience
Edmond, Oklahomas’ vibrant community spirit and rich historical heritage on this years’ 4th of July is one of the best ways to celebrate our Independence Day! This celebration is set to be nothing short of astonishing, as always, leaving all who attend amazed and inspired. The Liberty parade, starting at 9am, is one of the largest in the state, showcasing elaborately decorated floats, accompanied by performances and marching bands. Participants are dressed head to toe in red, white and blue attire and truly capture the essence of what this day represents. Last but not least, the fireworks, starting at 9:30pm! The Freedom Fest in Yukon OK, held at Chisholm Trail Park, 500 W Vandament and City Park 2200 S Holly Ave is another exciting event happening in the metro area. Some of the events to enjoy are a car show from 10-3, children’s parade at 11 am, a hotdog eating contest at noon and a corn hole tournament from 6:30-8 pm and last but not least fireworks! Celebration in the Heartland at the Buck Thomas Park in Moore, OK features another of one of the largest fireworks shows in the state. This event is from 2-10pm and includes tons of activities including, food, music, vendors, local shopping, fireworks and more!
