Thinking of selling, here are some tips to help you get ahead before you list.

When you start to think that you want to move, it’s always a good time to get organized. Even if you decide not to move, it’s still never a bad idea to get rid of unnecessary items. If the decision is made to sell your home, then you have already gotten a head start on preparing your house to hit the market by organizing and decluttering.

You don’t want your house to feel smaller than it really is because of all the “extra” stuff you have laying around. Most home buyers are looking for a larger house than what they currently have. Make every room feel larger by keeping it well organized and decluttered. Make sure everything is off of the floor and in its designated spot. We recommend that you remove everything off your kitchen and bathroom countertops to make those spaces look larger as well. Organize every cabinet, closet, and cranny to create more  space. Walk through your home and store, give away, throw away, or donate anything that you do not need. You want to make your whole house feel spacious and inviting for the new owners that might be coming through.

There are many places that will take your donations, but this month on the 24th Collected Home 405 is doing donation pick ups for a small fee. If you are interested in them picking up your donations to take one thing off of your “to do” list go to https://forms.gle/4yNN2pcuduBxe79C8 and they will get back to you.
