Things that make your home sell faster

- Open the curtains, pull up the blinds, and let in the sunlight.
- Create a positive vibe. Turn on all the lights, day and night, and install high wattage bulbs that will show your home brightly.
- Remove any clutter from all the rooms to visually enlarge them.
- If you have a fireplace, highlight it in your decorating.
- Keep your home dusted and vacuumed at all times.
- Replace your carpet if it does not clean well.
- Have a plan to get the home in order quickly if necessary.
- Spray a light amount of air freshener throughout the house so it has a chance to diffuse before the buyer arrives.
- Remove unnecessary furniture to improve traffic flow.
- Make your entry feel more spacious by using decorative accents and removing unnecessary furniture.
- Spackle and paint over any holes or mishaps on the walls
- Paint all interior walls a neutral color to brighten the home and make it feel bigger
- Repair or replace any damaged wallpaper.
- Clean all light fixtures to brighten the home.
- Wash all windows inside and out.
- Remove or hide excess extension cords and exposed wires.
- Open all doors to areas that you would want a buyer to see such as, walk in pantry, walk in closets, etc.
