New School Year, New Goals!
It’s a new school year, which means new goals. Whether you are a teacher, student, or a parent we all have goals. Here are some tips to help you and/or your child(ren) reach your goals.
- Write out your goals. Write it out even if you don’t feel as if it is realistic or not. Seeing your goals on a daily basis will help you remember to keep working hard.
- Make the goals specific. For example, don’t say that you want to spend more time on homework, say I will spend 2 hours a night on homework.
- Separate your goals into immediate and long-term goals. Now that you have written your goals out, look at them to see which ones would be considered long term and which ones would be immediate.
- Make deadlines for your goals. Write out specific dates that you would like to accomplish each one.
- Have a positive attitude. You will achieve great things with a positive attitude.
