July 4 Weekend Activities in Oklahoma

Yearly, we celebrate Independence Day on the 4th of July. This year will be as spectacular as before in Oklahoma, as there are multiple events and activities that weekend. Plenty of fantastic fireworks and events that you can attend to celebrate!

The Yukon Freedomfest is one of the grand events for July 4th. It is located at Chisholm Trail Park, 500 W. Vandament, and City Park, 2200 S. Holly Ave. It will start on July 3, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and conclude July 4, sometime around 10 p.m. after the firework show. Giant fireworks, concerts, contests, and kid’s activities so there is something for everyone to enjoy.

More fireworks in Moore at the Buck Thomas Park (located off NE 12th Street) on July 4th. They host a celebration with fireworks, a classic car, and motorcycle show, kid’s activities, a carnival with rides, and more from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Liberty Fest in Edmond, OK is the most memorable Independence Day event. They host the largest parade and firework display in the state.
