Celebrate Father’s Day in Oklahoma

It’s time to express our love and gratitude to all the fathers out there! This year, Oklahoma is offering some great options to spoil that special father figure!

On June 19 and 20, free Gone Fishing Activities at Bass Pro & Cabela’s (200 Bass Pro Dr., 1200 W Memorial Rd) include free, family-friendly activities such as a catch-and-release pond or casting challenge, crafts, and more. 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

On select evenings, Scissortail Park (415 S Robinson Ave) hosts a FREE Live from the Lawn Concert, which features live, outdoor concerts by local, regional, and national artists and musicians. Tré Burt, a folk singer-songwriter, will perform on the Love’s Travel Stops Stage & Great Lawn. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own picnics, blankets, and lawn chairs. Also, on June 20, at 8 p.m. On the same day, the free Father’s Day Festival at Scissortail Park (300 SW 7th) includes games, food, music, vendors, and more. 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

It is not always necessary to throw a big party. What matters is that you can make them feel your love and respect.
