Depending who you’re talking to Spring Break can either mean just that- a break, or it can mean your normally quiet home turning into utter chaos. I assume most of those old enough and interested in reading this real estate blog are the latter group. You of course love your children but it can be overwhelming if you’re not used to them tearing around your home everyday of the week, all day long. If you and the kids are getting a bit of cabin fever, why not try out one of these upcoming fun events in the Edmond OKC area! And if you don’t have kiddos at home, anyone can enjoy these activities! We’ve got all y’all’s backs, don’t worry!
Love the Thunder? Or especially Rumble? The Rolling Thunder Book Bus will be at Oklahoma Hall of Fame located on Classen tonight! There’ll be a guest visit from Rumble as well so you won’t want to miss this one! Your kiddos are each able to take one free book home from the book bus and have a great time!
Some kids prefer the real thing to animal mascots… try the zoo! If you’re schedule stays busy while the kids’ don’t, there is an ongoing day camp happening at The OKC Zoo from 8am-12:30pm or 8am-5:15pm. Leave them for a day of fun, animals, and crafts! You can take a well deserved power nap or catch up on work!
Big cowboy fan in the family? They’ll love all the activities going on at the National Western Heritage & Cowboy Museum! Be sure to wear your boots, hats and bandannas because you’re encouraged to dress the part when you take part in the Cowboy Challenge! Happening March 22nd, you and the kids will have your best cowboy knowledge tested as you compete in roping, map reading, target shooting, bed roll races, and more!
If it’s art you’re looking for, look no further! From now until the 23rd, Oklahoma Contemporary is offering Spring Break art classes from 9am-4pm! Let your kiddos have all the fun getting paint on someone else’s stuff and save your furniture. Just kidding, this is merely a great opportunity for them to hone in their hand eye coordination and abilities as they’re taught to work in clay, drawing, painting, and even animation (age permitting)!
Let us know how you’re staying busy this Spring Break!
