Oh, How We Love Our Teachers!

Our teachers mean the world to us, don’t they? They work tirelessly throughout the year to help shape the little minds in our children and leave a lasting impact on their lives. They make huge sacrifices each and every day to ensure each student’s success and learning in the classroom. Additionally, they strive to build confidence within our children and seek to draw out the best in each of them. How grateful we are that the Lord put teachers on this earth to play a huge role in our lives as well as our children’s lives!

There really is no better time to honor and celebrate our teachers than at the end of the year. If you are in need of ideas on how to say “thanks”, we’ve compiled a list of gift ideas below to give you a starting point. Take some time and just a little bit of money to put together a gift that would truly communicate your gratitude towards them. And if you have any ideas that aren’t listed in this post, please share them with us in the comments section below!

  • Gift Cards
    • Whether it’s a gift card to Mardel for school supplies or a gift card to a local nail salon, having the option to choose what they buy is always a great idea! Other giftcard options are: local restaurants, Target, Starbucks, Amazon, Bed Bath & Beyond, Walmart, Lowe’s/Home Depot, LOFT, Barnes & Noble, etc.
  • Gift Baskets
    • Some other ideas we’ve come across is putting together a gift basket filled will a few related items to give them an afternoon or evening of enjoyment! Some ideas include:
      • “Summer Basket” filled with books, sunglasses, sunscreen, a beach towel, and flip flops
      • “Movie Night Basket” filled with bags of popcorn, movie theater candy, a few bottles of soda, an assortment of movies, or a gift card to Redbox
      • “Manicure Basket” filled with nail polish, nail kit, different lotions, and a candle
      • “Coffee Basket” filled with an assortment of coffee beans/Keurig pods, a coffee mug, a Yeti thermos, and creamer
