April 19, 1995: We Remember
Today, hundreds of people gathered at the OKC Memorial to place balloons, wreaths, and photos on the chairs that represent the 168 individuals who were killed in the 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building. U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson spoke at the remembrance ceremony today, focusing on unity in our country. The Murrah building also officed a total of 85 HUD employees, 35 of which died in the attack.
All 168 names were read allowed this morning and those names will surely never be forgotten. Join us in praying for the families who are still suffering the loss of their loved ones, even 22 years later.
