Edmond Mobile Meals Chili Cook-Off on Thursday, Mar 2nd!

Edmond Mobile Meals invites local teams to participate in our 3rd annual Chili Cook-Off. The family-friendly event is a fundraiser that kicks off a month-long national celebration of “March for Meals”, which raises awareness within local communities for Meals on Wheels programs and the home-bound, vulnerable seniors who rely on their services.

More than 15 local teams are expected to compete in 2017 for bragging rights of having Edmond’s Best Chili including Smokin’ Okies, Flying Pig BBQ, AC Owen Construction, Innovative Health Care Systems, Homeworx, UCO and several more. Trophies are awarded for 1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd and a People’s Choice Award.

The event is open to the public for a $10 donation per person. Children under 10 are free. Attendees can sample as much chili as they would like, plus sides, homemade desserts & soda from Pop’s! For more information, call 341-3111.
