Today we remember the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and reflect on his teachings and purpose in this world.  What inspires us the most is his belief in something greater than himself and how the Lord used him not only in the civil rights movement, but also to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone he knew. He says it best here:

“Christianity affirms that at the heart of reality is a Heart, a loving Father who works through history for the salvation of His children. Man cannot save himself, for man is not the measure of all things and humanity is not God. Bound by the chains of his own sin and finiteness, man needs a Savior.” –Martin Luther King, Jr.

We celebrate the life of this great hero and are inspired by his determination, selflessness, and unwavering faith!
