Fun April Events in the Edmond/OKC Metro!

Here are a few fun events around the Metro to fill your April schedule! Some events are free and some require you to purchasea  ticket. Whatever your plans are this month, we wish you flowers instead of showers!

April 1-2: Dry Glutch Beads & Jewelry will be at The Bead Market at the State Fairgrounds! Friday 10am-5pm, Saturday 10am-4pm. Located in the Hobbies, Arts & Crafts building. Free admission.

April 1-3: 40th Annual Medieval Fair. Come relive the Middle Ages with your entire family at Reaves Park in Norman from 10am-7pm. Food, entertainment, costume contests, dancing, human chess games and more!

April 3: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band at the Chesapeake Energy Arena, 7:30pm. Click here for ticket information.

April 4: OU College of Public Health kicks off National Public Health Week with a week full of events. Click here for information.

April 5: Charcoal Drawings Class for beginners or advanced artists. Held at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum from 6pm-9pm. $100 for class or $90 for museum members. Visit http://nationalcowboymuseum.org/attend-an-event/ for details.

April 6: Are you related to the Real Estate industry? Come to the OwnOK Real Estate Industry Conference! It is held downtown OKC at the Hilton Embassy Suites from 8:30am-1:30pm. Click here to register. This event sold out last year!

April 7-9: Shrine Circus is coming to the State Fairgrounds! Visit http://www.okstatefair.com/content/shrine-circus-1 for times and ticket information.

April 10: Sonic Free Family Day at the Oklahoma Museum of Art from 12pm-5pm. Free admission, hands-on family projects, and a tour of the museum.

April 11: Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Los Angeles Lakers at the Chesapeake Energy Arena. Click here to get your tickets! The game starts at 7pm.

April 12-21: 2016 Starting New at Golf (SNAG) classes are offered to junior golfers ages 4-7 at the KickingBird Golf Club from 5:30pm-6:30pm. $50 for two week class. Visit http://edmondok.com/ for more details.

April 14-16: Oklahoma City Farm Show is at the State Fairgrounds from 9am-5pm. April 16th from 9am-4pm. Admission is free to the public.

April 15: Mickey Mantle exhibit at the Oklahoma History Center from 10am-5pm. Admission is $7, free to Veterans. Visit http://www.okhistory.org/ for more information.

April 16: Edmond’s Art in Public Places Tour. Guided tour around the public art statues that make Edmond beautiful! 9am-12pm, $10 per person. Click here for details.

April 17: Bisque Studio at the MAC in Mitch Park. Bring your family to paint pottery and create your own masterpiece. $20 per person, 4pm-6pm. Call 405-359-4630 for information and to register.

April 18: Chamber Swingers at the UCO Jazz Lab will be performing at 7pm. Visit www.ucojazzlab.com for ticket information.

April 19: Oklahoma City Dodgers vs. Memphis Redbirds at the Bricktown Ballpark, 7:05pm. Click here for tickets.

April 20: 49th Annual Angels and Friends Party! OKC’s Art Council Fundraiser and celebration of Spring. Civic Center Music Hall Atrium 5:30-8:30.

April 21-24: UCO School of Music Presents: “My One and Only” Tony Award winning musical. For tickets, call 405-974-3375. April 21-23, 7:30pm and April 24, 2pm. Located in the UCO Mitchell Hall Theatre.

April 25: String Art ages 6-12. 4:00pm at Mitch Park. Cost- $12. Contact 405-359-4630 for more details.
