Did you know purple is the trending color for the year?

Actually it is radiant orchard, but I’ll just call it purple. I didn’t know this until I started looking for a new rug and I kept seeing purple ones. And the more I read in magazines and online- purple is THE color this year.  Who knew? Now that you know, you will see it everywhere you look from home decor to clothes! Little pops of purple in your home can be classy when you have accent chairs, pillows, throws, dishes, plants, rugs, towels, pictures, trinkets and whatever else you might find that is purple.

Every year in December a new trending color is announced by Pantone, a color matching company. Last year the color was green, and as a Realtor, I saw shades of green decorations and paint colors in quite a few homes. I also might have bought a pair of green capris and a green necklace last year, too! Have you seen any purple decor in homes lately? After learning this news, the RED Team did buy a few purple accent pieces to add to our staging decorations so we stay “trendy” and keep your homes looking “trendy”, too!
