4th of July Events in the METRO OKC area!
The RED Team wants to wish you a HAPPY 4th of JULY to all of our friends, clients and family! Here are a few events in the OKC Metro that we thought looked fun and wanted to share with you.
LibertyFest
LibertyFest entertains an attendance of over 125,000 annually and is organized and produced by a group of over 500 volunteers. It hosts Oklahoma’s largest hometown 4th of July parade with over 100 entries. The grand finale of LibertyFest will be the Fireworks and entertainment the evening of July 4th. The Fireworks display is the largest in the Oklahoma City metro area. Please join us in thanking our wonderful volunteers, they have been working hard to provide the ‘best and safest’ family friendly, 4th of July events for Edmond citizens and our guests. Remember to keep your belongings close to you and consider placing a tag on your backpack, diaper bag and other items that includes your name and phone number.

Red, White & Boom
2014 brings the 8th Red, White & Boom July 4th celebration. With a free live concert and of course the fireworks extravaganza, it’s a top place to be for Independence Day.
Date and Times: Red, White & Boom is at 8:30 p.m. Thursday, July 3rd with the OKC Philharmonic presenting Patriotic Pops. Bring lawn chairs and enjoy concessions as well.
Fireworks will follow the show, approximately 10 p.m.
Location: The 2014 version of this annual event will be held at the State Fair Park.
Admission: Admission is free, as is parking.
Concessions: Food vendors will be on hand.

Bricktown Fireworks and Fourth Fest 2014
Live music highlights the festival from 4 p.m. to until the Bricktown fireworks display begins at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, July 4, 2014. The Oklahoma City RedHawks also play Iowa on the evening of Independence Day.
Location: Oklahoma City’s Bricktown is located on the eastern side of downtown OKC between E.K. Gaylord Avenue on the west and Stiles Avenue on the East. Reno Avenue is a major Bricktown street on the south side, and Main Street is considered the north border.
Go to the corner of Sheridan and Oklahoma for the live music. The fireworks are set off near the Bricktown Ballpark, and there are numerous excellent viewing areas all around Bricktown, Deep Deuce and other surrounding areas downtown.
Admission: Feel free to bring your own lawn chairs and blankets to set up on sidewalks around the area. You can often find parking spots along the areas streets. Get information on downtown parking areas. Many of the lots are in and around Bricktown and they may charge you to park.
Bricktown is also one of the city’s top locations for restaurants, bars and clubs, many of which have patio or rooftop seating excellent for viewing the July 4th fireworks. It would be a good idea to call in advance and inquire about reservations. The top locations will be taken very early in the day.
