The RED Team Favorite Fall recipes!

Fall is here! Good food, cooler weather and changing colors. Here are a couple of our favorite recipes that are extra yummy during this season. Enjoy!

 

Salted Caramel Crispy Treats

Ingredients-

6 cups rice crispy cereal

1 stick unsalted butter

½ cup dark brown sugar

¼ cup heavy whipping cream

1 Tbl light corn syrup

1Tbl flaky sea salt, plus more for sprinkling

One 10-oz bag of mini marshmallows

Directions- Spray your 8inch square cake pan with nonstick spray. Add cereal to a large heatproof bowl and set aside. Add butter to medium sauce pan over medium heat. Once melted, stir in brown sugar,  corn syrup, 1 tsp sea salt and heavy whipping cream. Cook until thick and syrupy while still stirring frequently- about 7 min. Turn off heat and stir in the marshmallows. Keep stirring until smooth. Quickly pour the caramel marshmallow sauce over the cereal and stir all together. Pour into prepared pan and press down with a piece of parchment paper sprayed with nonstick spray. Sprinkle lightly with flaky sea salt. Cool and cut into squares. Enjoy!

Easy Pumpkin Muffins

Ingredients-

1 Box yellow cake mix

1 Can pumpkin

3 tsp of pumpkin spice

1 cup powered sugar

Directions- Pour cake mix powder, pumpkin and pumpkin spice in mixing bowl and stir well. That is it!! The batter is really thick so just make sure it is all mixed up. Pour into cupcake liners. Bake at 350 for 10-15 min.

Hot Ham and Cheese Sammies

12 King Hawaiian Rolls

12 Slices fresh swiss cheese

1 lb thin sliced deli ham

½ cup melted butter

1 Tbl onion flakes

1 tsp Poppy seeds

1 ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce

½ Dijon mustard

Directions- Slice rolls in half. Place tightly into a 9×13 dish. Place a few pieces of ham and top with cheese on the bottom bun. Cover the top half of the bun. In a small bowl, combine butter, onion flakes, poppy seeds, Worcestershire and ground mustard. Pour over sandwiches. Cover with plastic wrap and marinade in the fridge for 4-8 hrs. Preheat oven for 350 and bake for 15 min or until cheese is melted. Serve hot.

Holiday Green Beans

Ingredients-

6 cans Italian Allen green beans drained and put into a large casserole dish

8 slices pepper bacon

Mix together:

1 stick melted butter

1/2 c. brown sugar

2 Tbsp. soy sauce

1 Tbsp. minced garlic

Directions- Cook mixed ingredients in microwave until boiling. Pour over green beans. Marinate overnight if you choose. Cut slices of bacon into 1″ pieces and place them all over the top of the beans. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.

Simple Party Sweets

Nutter Butter Ghost- Dip nutter butters in white chocolate and use mini chocolate chips for eyes. Boo!

Spider Web Pretzels- Dip pretzels in white chocolate and add plastic spider on them. Eek!

Ghost Suckers- Cover tootsie roll pops in a tissue, tie off with ribbon and draw 2 eyes with a marker.
