Unpacking the boxes! New in the community?

Have you recently seen a moving van in your neighborhood?   Has a mom from another area enrolled her children in your child’s school?   Do you have a friend who has moved here?   If the answer is “yes,” you have an ideal opportunity to welcome these women to Edmond/OKC and introduce them to the Memorial Road family.  Would you consider inviting someone to the “Boxes” class?   Unpacking the Boxes, a class inspired by Susan Miller’s book After the Boxes Are Unpacked: Moving On After Moving In, is designed for women who are new to our area.  Each woman immediately meets other newcomers and is warmly welcomed by MRCC hostesses who want to know her.   If you are new, you are cordially invited to come to this class, which is fun, informative, and healing as it deals with the challenges of moving.  Bible-based lessons will help you learn to move past the pain and loss of what you’ve left behind and toward an appreciation of your new community.   This 9-week class meets on Wednesday mornings from 9:30-11:30 starting September 12 in room A102.  Child care is available with pre-registration.   “Boxes” brochures with more information are available at Ministry Central.  Perhaps you could pick one up for a newcomer and offer her a special invitation to this class.  For additional information, please check out the web site at unpackingtheboxes.com or call Marilyn Dobson at 341-5141. You can visit www.mrcc.org for even more info.

Kim will be helping with this class so feel free to even call her at Keller Williams Realty 405.330.2626 with any questions.
