April Home Improvement Tips

Here are a couple suggestions for the month of April for keeping your home in tip top shape. Warm sunny days are just around the corner!  Make some calls and get to work to keep your home like new.

-Change/clean all Heat/Air vents

-Clean, repair/seal gutters. Add splash blocks or gutter extensions as needed. Be sure all gutters drain well away from your house.

-Check the entire perimeter of your house. Is the water draining toward your foundation? Keep well packed soil (not loose fill) sloped away from your house.

-General outside cleaning: Windows, house, sidewalks, patios, BBQ grills, patio furniture.

-Have your roof checked by a professional roofer. In addition to checking the roof, all vents and flashings, ask your roofer to check your attic ventilation and insulation.

-Pool service/maintenance.
